Goal: Strengthen and broaden the economic viability of the commercial historic districts.
Objectives:
a. Property Owners’ Subcommittee
b. Implement Town Dollars Gift Card Program—Part II
c. Building Inventory/statistics/compile market data
d. HUD Loan Program
e. Main Street Business Directory--online
f. Assist property owners/tenants/prospective business owners
g. Disaster preparedness in the historic districts (collaborate & share information, make kits, conduct drills)
Goal: Promote the historic districts as the town's social, cultural and economic centers.

d. Merchant Window themes

g. Victorian Holidays Celebration (Merchant Open House, Treelighting/Santa Visit, Holiday Ornaments, Hometown Holiday Sweepstakes, Street Décorations)

j. Develop activities/ web page publicity to encompass Uptown and Downtown historic districts

Goal: Enhance the character of the commercial historic districts through good design and public amenities compatible with historic features.

c. Earth Day Clean Up
d. Historic Plaque Project—interpretive website
e. Signage projects (kiosk)
f. Participate in city design processes
g. Work in collaboration with city on streetscape plan
h. expand winter lighting/illumination of buildings
i. Post design information for property owners/share information re: city processes on website
